Grandad Style

I can’t believe it’s taken this long for me to invest in a grandad shirt. How this staple item has passed me by all these years is a mystery! It’s no secret I love a white shirt— I have plenty, but the classic collar does annoy me when I wear with a jacket. I always find myself pulling at it to make sure it’s sitting right. Not a problem with the grandaddy! Sits flat no matter what.

Paired here with a beautiful specimen of a duster coat by Voir Lab which is made from fabric that hangs beautifully— perfect for smartening up any look. In fact I have it pencilled in as a wedding outfit coverup which I’ve always struggled to find in the past.

This leather tote bag is by VereVerto (the same label that makes the amazing Deco belt featured here) and is not just a regular tote. It comes with an attachable longer strap which can be used to wear over the shoulder or as a backpack. Brilliantly versatile!

And let’s not forget these stunners of a sandal. The Summer Staple by Essen are beautifully made and ooze modern minimalism in croc embossed leather, with a heel that elevates but doesn’t cripple you after a days wear. My kind of footwear.
