Suits You

The two piece suit is one of the hardest working investments you’ll make this year. Just switch up the shoes and top and you can transform your look to suit (sorry) just about any occasion. From a white t-shirt and trainers for a laid back look, to some heels and a silk camisole for the perfect fail safe party outfit. Or as I’ve styled here— with a simple black funnel neck jumper and smart shoe for a boyish take.

There are plenty to choose from on the high street right now, but I have to say this Autograph jacket and trousers from Marks & Spencer is a great fit. What I particularly love about the M&S offering is that their trousers usually come in short, regular or long which saves me the job of taking up the hem (which I do to a lot of my trousers). I’m 5ft 6″ and have gone for the short version as I really like a cropped suit trouser.

And if navy feels a bit too corporate for you, fear not— this suit also comes in black. Which I might have to get too!
