Jumpsuiting

If it weren’t for the firm demeanour of the sales assistant at COS, I would never have picked up this jumpsuit. I’d barely registered it as I pushed it passed on the rail, when she approached me and said “It’s very good. You must try.” So I basically grabbed it to avoid feeling awkward, and lo and behold she was right.

Since bringing the jumpsuit home I’ve worn it so much, it almost feels like uniform. In fact the colour and fabric does give it a utility/workwear vibe so maybe I’m subconsciously channelling my inner car mechanic? What I’m trying to channel however, is my imaginary mature French woman who lives somewhere on the Cote d’Azur. She is a constant reference point during the summer. Not sure exactly when I created her but think it had something to do with a trip to St Tropez when I was overwhelmed by the abundance of chic mature women who just had ‘it’. One day I hope to become her. Including living on the French Riviera of course 😉
