There are those days— usually the weekend or on holiday in Norfolk where we often take a break— when I grab for my favourite comfort pieces. Pieces that bring me pleasure because they’re well made and trusted. Items that just work together and make me feel comfortable but still presentable!
In collaboration with TOMS, I’ve styled their new Deconstructed Alpargata shoe with just that kind of relaxed outfit, as well as pulling it all apart in order to tell the story of each piece and why I love it.
I must admit, these are my first pair of TOMS. I know so many people rave about them and I have to say, I can totally see why! Fab quality, so comfortable and what a great ethos with their One for One concept helping so many. The new Deconstructed Alpargata style is gorgeous and I love the pale pink suede version!
This round basket bag is a recent purchase from a new shop that opened at the end of my road! It’s is filled with a beautifully curated mix of homewares, fashion, jewellery, accessories and books. This bag caught my eye as soon as it came in store and I just had to have it. It’s perfect for spring/summer.
I love this top so much. Purchased from a Norfolk chandlery about 3 years ago, it’s been a trusted friend. I reach for it on so many occasions. I wear nearly everyday when we’re away in Norfolk! And in Brighton is great for the weekends, especially when we’ve had a BBQ and still fancy sitting out after the sun’s gone down and it’s a bit chilly.
I have a few pairs of white jeans but these ones are my consistent go to pair. Comfortable and just the right shape and length. Perfect for dressing up or down. I can’t believe I haven’t ruined them by spilling red wine on them yet!
These earrings are so perfect. Minimal, stylish and comfortable to wear. I find that a lot of my more statement earrings are so heavy and I can’t wait to take them off at the end of the day, but these are really lightweight.
I have quite a few pairs of sunglasses but these ones are definitely my favourites. They’re really special— the material they’re made from is vintage Italian acrylic so really unique.
Again, I have a few watches but find myself reaching for this one pretty much every day! I love the simplicity of it. So wearable with any outfit.
